This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you useMyConsultingCoach at our website and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, name (if provided), authentication credentials, and role.
- Interview and practice data: voice audio, transcripts, case progress, exhibits viewed, and feedback generated during sessions.
- Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and status; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, server logs, and cookies used for authentication and security (including reCAPTCHA on sign-up and Google sign-in when you choose that option).
- Usage analytics: aggregated page views, referrers, and general device or location information collected through Vercel Web Analytics. This tool is cookieless and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect sign-up from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data for targeted advertising.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate (for example, which pages are visited and from which country). Vercel Analytics does not set tracking cookies for this purpose. You can learn more in Vercel's analytics privacy documentation.
How we use information
- Provide and improve the Service, including AI coaching and structured feedback.
- Manage subscriptions, billing, and customer support.
- Secure the platform, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Analyze interview and practice session data for product quality and model improvement, as described when you start a session.
- Measure site usage in aggregate to improve the Service (via Vercel Web Analytics).
Sharing
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, including hosting and analytics (Vercel), email, payment (Stripe), voice infrastructure (e.g. LiveKit), authentication and anti-abuse (Google, including OAuth and reCAPTCHA), and AI providers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
We retain account and session data for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices
You may access or update account details from your Account page. You may cancel a subscription via Stripe Customer Portal from Account → Manage subscription & billing. You may delete your account from the Account page (permanent; cancels an active subscription). For other requests, contact us at info@MyConsultingCoach.com.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
International users
If you access the Service from outside your country, your information may be processed in jurisdictions where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
